Children.

Notes: like his brothers joined the family wheelwright business. After the death of his father in 1880 he lived at home at Providence Cottage with his mother and the younger members of the family. In 1881 he is listed as a master wheelwright and his elder brother Enoch who was managing the family business lived with his wife in nearby Rose Cottages. A letter from his mother Fanny to his sister Esther of Oct 1886 notes that he was then living in Polegate and was shortly to get married. He married Helen Louisa (Nellie) Martin on 6 Nov 1886 at Polegate. In 1891 the family is living at Brook Street, Polegate and he is still shown as a wheelwright although there is some conjecture that he went into a coach building business. Noah and Nellie separated sometime between the birth of their youngest son in 1896 and the 1901 census. Nellie supported the family by working as a laundress and taking in lodgers and was assisted with the younger children by their eldest daughter Florence May (b. 1887).

We have been unable to locate Noah in 1901 but it is believed from several sources that he went to live in Croydon in Surrey. He is a bit of a mystery man over the next thirty years or so but he reappeared in the early 1930s and was lodging next door to Nellie at Ealing and one of his sons, Robert also lived nearby. It is believed that he died around about 1940.
