Notes: 1881 is shown as employed at home as a domestic servant. She trained as a Post Office telegraphist at Uckfield and later worked at Sheerness and in London. We are in possession of a copy of a very newsy letter written to Esther by her mother Fanny on 26 Oct 1886, only about three weeks before she died where she talks about passing on a copy of the morse alphabet to the local doctor. I have been unable to locate her in 1891
