Notes: like his brothers entered into the wheelwright trade. In 1881 he is living at home with his widowed mother and is shown as a wheelwright journeyman. I n 1891 he is shown as lodging with the Wadey family at Compton Green, Ardingly. The head of the family, Chas Wadey, is also a wheelwright as is his son John, a sixteen year old apprentice. Benjamin married Charlotte Wadey of Slinfold in the Sep Qtr of 1893 and in 1891 they are shown as living at Betchworth in Surrey. I understand that Benjamin died in 1912.
