Notes: The 1871 Census shows William as being employed as a cook h e is living in Clerkenwell with his wife and a son Robert a ged 3 months, so that would give his birth as January 1871 , he 2nd son George William is show as being born in Marc h Qtr 1871, possible that Robert and George were Twins The Police Gazette of 13th October 1877 reports that Willi am was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and assaulting a Poilice man one William Hutton a reservis t in Harrow Road he was sentanced to 6 months hard labour i n The House of Correction as this was not his first offenc e ( see cutting from Police Gazette in File) In 1893 on the birth of his son Henry, William and his Fami ly were l;iving at 18 Alenham Street Somers Town St Pancras The 1901 census shows William and his family living at 58 R upert Road St Pancras RG13/161 Page 45 Folio 27 William had a drink problem His occupation at some time was that of a cook supposed t o have worked in the Trocadero in Piccadilly
