Notes: The 1851 census shows Jane living with the family at 41 Edm und Street St Pancras her age is shown as 6 so she may hav e been born 1844/1845 There is no record in the GRO indexes of the birth of Jan e in eith 1844 or 1845/6, so it is assumed that she was bap tised but that the birth was never registered Marriage details Jane Waugh St Pancras 1b 152 2nd Qtr 1865 The 1861 census shows Jane as a servant in Hannover Square , her future Father in Law James Pretty is also shown a s a servant there. In 1871 Jane was a cook, She is shown at her fathers hous e in the 1871 census as married, but there did not appear t o be any trace of her husband in the 1881 census.
