Leonard marri ed Mary Ann (or Marian) Middleage. In 1861(census) Leonard is 29yrs o ld he is living with his wife on Eton Road, Plumstead, Kent and is sti ll a Blacksmith. By 1871(census) Leonard is 39yrs old he is living with h is Wife, Son, Mother in Law & Border at 11 Arthur St, East Plumstead a nd is still working as a Blacksmith. Leonard's First wife died in 18 75 & he Marries Mary Finch. In 1881(Census) Leonard is 49yrs old He is liv ing with his new wife, & three Sons at 11 Arthur St, Plumbstead, he is sti ll a Blacksmith. In 1891 (census) Leonard is 59yrs old, he is living wi th his Wife, Sons, two Nieces & a Border, he is still living at 11 Arth ur St but has retired from Smithing.
