Notes: Sarah Ann Williamson was born in 1841 at Moulton, Northamptonshire to Thom as & Mary Ann Williamson. Sarah's family seem's to disapear from the Cens us (perhaps died or Emigrated) as in 1851(census) Sarah is 10yrs old, s he is living at the Post Office in Moulton with her Grandparents & Uncl e, Sarah is attending school. In 1861(census) Sarah is 20yrs old, she is s till living at the Post Office but her Uncle is now Postmaster, Sarah is w orking with him as a Groccer's Assistant. Also living at the House is h er Aunt & Cousin Sarah Chamberlain. Sarah married William Tanner in 18 62 at Moulton and in 1871(census) Sarah is now 30yrs old, she is living wi th her husband & Children at Charter St, Moulton, Sarah is working as a Sc hool Mistress. In 1881(census) Sarah is now 40yrs old, she is living wi th her family on Church Street, Moulton and is working as a Telegraphis t. By 1891 (census) Sarah is 50yrs old, she & her husband have now moved i nto the Post office where her Husband is now Postmaster, Sarah is sti ll a Telegraphist. There are four of their children still living with th em plus a 14mth old Grandaughter. And in 1901(census) Sarah is 60yrs ol d, she & her husband are still engaged in their proffessions and are livi ng With one of their Daughter's & Grandaughter ( it is most likely that t he Grandaughter is the illegitimate child of the Daughter).
