Notes: Thomas Buttress was born in 1885 at Birmingham to Albert & Catherine Buttr ess. In 1891 (census) Thomas is 6yrs old, he & his Sister are living wi th their Grandparents at 31 Lime Grove, Handsworth, Warwickshire. At the t ime Thomas' Mother had died in 1888, most likely in Childbirth as his Sist er was born that same year. They are not with their father who may have be en in Canada at the time as by 1901 (census) both Thomas & his Sister we re living with their father in Canada.
